Highly recommend! have stayed in many hostels all over the world but this is definitely in the top rated. Absolutely lovely little gem on the top floor with a incredible view and cozy vibe. The staff is lovely and good comfort. Extended my stay for a whole week that says enough 🙂

Estuve en varias ocasiones en el hostel 1004, exelente atención, la gente muy amable y un ambiente súper agradable. El desayuno es con pan recién hecho en las instalaciones y se puede utilizar la cocina súper completa para cocinarte, recomendable!

Desde las instalaciones, el recibimiento del staff del hostel, los otros huespedes, las vistas de la ciudad y del paisaje, la ubicación, todo todo todo es SOBRESALIENTE. Destaco también la cocina, la organización, las comodidad de las camas y los baños que son fundamentales, el pan caserito cada mañana, lo grande que es el comedor comunitario, el balconcito para comer, charlar, o simplemente admirar la naturaleza, y podría seguir. Todo es precioso, todo es armonioso, todo está bien en este lugar. Especial agradecimiento a Edu y a Mari que fueron los primeros en recibirme, pero así tambien a Fio, Jesus y a absolutamente todo el equipo que trabaja para que sea el mejor hostel del planeta.

Simplemente increíble. La mejor vista panorámica de Bariloche, sin dudas, podés ver el Lago Nahuel Huapi y las montañas como si fueran una postal viviente, tanto al amanecer como al atardecer. Las habitaciones son cómodas, limpias y espaciosas. La cocina compartida está impecable, equipada con todo lo necesario y con ventanales enormes para seguir disfrutando de las vistas mientras cocinás. El ambiente es muy relajado, ideal para conectar con otros viajeros o simplemente descansar. El staff es amable y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudar con recomendaciones sobre qué hacer en Bariloche.

Views of the lake in the center The hostel occupies the top floor (tenth) of a building, so the rooms, the living room and the balcony, have beautiful views of the lake, being in the heart of the city. The rooms are basic but functional and clean and can be booked with private bathroom. The communal living room is cozy, somewhat retro but warm and comfortable decoration. Breakfast quite complete, good service, kitchen for guests. Very good option to stay either going alone or in a group!

Absolutely the best experience! Can’t recommend highly enough. The rooms, common areas, and kitchen at this hostel are all amazing—I stayed in both a private and shared room and all were clean and comfortable. But it’s the super helpful and friendly staff that make this place stand out. They answered all my questions about hikes, bus schedules, exchanging money, etc. and gave great local tips.

The best hostel in Argentina! This hostel is the best one I have been in my trip! It is located in the center of Bariloche, close to everything. The view from the balcony is breathtaking 😍 The vibe is excellent, and there is a beautiful common area to sit down and chill. It is always clean, and the kitchen offers you all you need to cook. The best part, without a doubt, is the team! They were so lovely and helpful. They knew all the guests' names, baked amazing bread for every breakfast, and went above and beyond for us.

Hermoso Hermoso. Volveria siempre. Super limpio los baños, estan siempre limpiandolos, lo mismo que los espacios comunes. Y la vista es genial, desde las habitaciones incluso hasta los baños tienen ventanales hacia el lago

Spectacular is an understatement
Ya es la segunda vez que me hospedo en penthouse 1004 y la verdad no tengo más nada que no sea agradecerles por hacer mis días en Bariloche mágicos. Más allá de toda la energía que es difícil percibir en otros sitios, es la calidad de los chicos . Guada, Jesús todos unos grandes!!!! Nos seguiremos viendo

My favorite hostel!!!
Visité Penthouse por segunda vez hace unas semanas. Lo conocí en marzo 2021 y siempre súper que volvería porque es excelente! Es un Hostel completamente pensado para el disfrute y la tranquilidad. A mi edad busco poder descansar, estar en contacto con la naturaleza y tener buenos momentos. Acá se conjuga todo. La vista es única sencillamente. Es soñada. La mejor que tuve y eso que ya viajé 9 veces a Bariloche. La atención del personal es perfecta, atentos a los pedidos y muy empáticos. La cocina siempre limpia. Eso vale oro!!! Al igual q los baños. Te gustaban el equipaje aunque te tengas q ir por varios días. Me hicieron súper amena la estadía una vez más. Voy a volver siempre!!!

All our common areas are very spacious, comfortable, and luminous. The big tables in the dining room invite you to share a meal with other travelers, as well as have a drink in the comfy couches in the living room. An eclectic variety of music for each moment makes the penthouse the perfect place to relax and enjoy the impressive panoramic view with other travelers

Our large fully equipped chef-style kitchen is a perfect spot to meet other travelers. We provide basic condiments such as spices, salt, oil, tea, coffee, and sugar, so you do not need to buy them!

Breakfast, which is included, consists of homemade bread, jam, butter, a healthy mix of cereals, milk, tea, and coffee.
